I started working at DDB six years ago. That’s the equivalent of working 50 years at another company. But alas, I love what I do and the people I work with. Only at DDB could I spend half my time working on Holland America Line and the other half making sure the agency is kept up to date on celebrity gossip. As a Senior Business Manager, my days are filled with all things related to cruising. It’s been the passion that keeps me awake at night, and it’s paid off…our agency has just won an ECHO (that’s the crème de la crème of DM awards) for the second year in a row on a campaign I managed. Take that other cruise lines. Prior to managing the Holland America Line DM account, I worked on Safeco, Washington Mutual, Discover Card, Philips Medical Systems and Microsoft.
When not reading about celebrities, I enjoy watching TV. Really. I could list my favorite shows, but we probably don’t have the server space to hold them all.
Favorite saying: “Meh”, or anything with the “f-bomb” in it
Number 1 on my “list” (you know what list I’m talking about): Ryan Reynolds
Favorite celebrity blog for wittiness: The Superficial
Favorite celebrity blog for accuracy: Perez Hilton
You know it’s a slow week in Hollywood when there’s not one interesting item to report on Britney Spears. However, we can always count on The Hills to be in the news, what with their fake, scripted drama. Shocking, I know...

We had a choice. Build a website in our best corporate voice saying all the things we want people to think of us. Or do something different. Sure, we still had to get in all the normal stuff (work, jobs, news). But because transparency is inherent to how we work, we’ve built a site based on that very notion.
Everyone in the company can post here, unfiltered. So you’ll see what genuinely inspires, amuses and angers us, not just what the Company wants you to see.
Let the chemistry check begin.
